Ram Rajya

Today, whole of India is on its edge, emotions are running high, people are worried, some of them haven't been to office, schools have declared a holiday at some places, all this paranoia and excitement over Ayodhya Babri Masjid issue. The issue has been a long standing one between the Hindus and Muslims of India. While there is no documented "proof" of Lord Ram born at the very place the Babri Masjid used to stand, the belief of a majority is awaiting its biggest test in recent times.

No one knows what the verdict will be, no one knows what the situation would be like post verdict but this is one opportunity for us Indians to show our plurality to the world.

Hindus have for long made Muslims comfortable in the Hindustan and now its for Muslims to ensure that whatever the verdict of the high court they have a big heart and respect the feelings and beliefs of Hindus.

Just as we have co-existed as one nation, I am sure the temple and the mosque can be there in one single compound.

I hope all the Indians irrespective of their faiths respect the judgement of the court and respect each others  beliefs, after all we are Indians first and then Hindus or Muslims or Christians or Sikhs or Jains or Buddhists.

I am proud to be an Indian and I will always be.

Jai Hind!
